It's Official

I have been in cabs all over the world: Berlin, London, Paris, Frankfurt, New York. Hands down the worst cab drivers work in Washington, DC..

Due to circumstances beyond my control I found myself in DC Cabs twice this weekend and each time I felt as though I was lucky to have gotten to my destination in 1 piece.

Both cab drivers were weaving in and out of traffic as though we were in the middle of a police chase and as I result I have a lovely blue bruise on my forehead. Had I realized that the driver(s) would be accelerating and decelerating at lightning fast speed I would have worn some sort of head protection.

Let this be a warning to you all - get a rental car in DC.

A little retail therapy never hurt

After looking through the 67 CDs in my car this morning to find the one I was searching for I finally broke down and bought the ipod. I wanted the 4GB Nano, which Amazon currently doesn't have, so instead I got the 20GB for the same price. The hell? Since I figured I was already broke I threw in a 7.2 MP digital camera.

Ahhh, yes, retail therapy can be so expensive, but better than regualr therapy.
